Mardracus Wade G Memphis Mitchell (TN)
Class of 2010
Wade hails from the same school that produced NBA star Thaddeus
Young. Wade is not quite that good, but he is good enough
to have high majors knocking at his door. Wade is long and
wiry with decent muscle tone. He could use some added
weight before college. Wade opened up strong with his
smooth looking perimeter shot. He hit multiple 3's in a
row to open the contest. As a ball handler he is smooth
and most of the time was under control with the ball. Wade
showed solid passing ability and was willing to make the extra
pass when the next man had the better shot. There were a
few passes however that were out of control once the game was
out of hand. Defensively he did an ok job on trapping the
ball. To be honest there was not much D at all in this
one. I see Wade as a combo guard at the next level.
I think he has the scoring ability to play the 2, but could
slide over and play some 1 when needed. The junior
finished with approximately 25 points. Wade is a top 60
recruit in the class of 2010.

George Marshall PG Brooks (IL) Class of
2011
The small point guard has a strong compact body. His jump
shot has nice form on it with a very slight stutter at the top
of it. The three point ball looked good coming out of
Marshall's hand, as he hit a few of them. Marshall was
good off the bounce and was strong enough to get the shot off
when on the way down in traffic. He ran the team at
several point throughout the game. It was a solid, but not
spectacular job. A few of his passes he led his teammate
to much and caused a turnover. Defensively, Marshall has
active hands and applied solid ball pressure. Brooks
defense is predicated on getting turnovers, so Marshall gambled a lot
in passing lanes. His team had a shocking loss to
Jacksonville after being up 11-0 at the end of the 1st quarter
and in complete control. Marshall is a top 100 prospect in
the Class of 2011.

Charles Joy SG O'Fallon
(IL) Class of 2011
Joy is an athletic wing prospect that is best in transition when
running the floor. He moved well without the ball to get
open. There were several occasions where Joy had problems
finishing in traffic. For a sophomore he shows a good
match between potential and production. |
